What is the best advice you have ever received?

My Great Grandmother still saved bread bags long into her life after going through the Great Depression. We all find inspiration and insight in all kinds of places. When people complain about getting older I always think of my father's saying

“The alternative is much worse"

I always say " Life is what you make it"

What do you go to bed smiling about?

We are all blessed with amazing things in our everyday life. May it be the sand under our feet, the new born smiling up at you, a warm house to come home to or the simple fact that the sky is blue (or it is?)

what is your biggest sewing fear?

It is the time of year when we all try to find new projects and change our look with the coming of spring. We have all been there and tried to reinvent old things or create new designs only to not have it turn out as we hoped. However sometimes I find my worst mistakes turn into my favorite creations...
