COLOR BLOCKING YOUR WAY
The color-block look is far from new, but it is trending with such vibranacy that you don't want to ignore it this year. There are lots of ways to make it work for you--some easier than others--Let's see what makes sense for you
Cheat.You'll look like a fashion genius without putting any thought into it if you simply buy a color-blocked dress. Pick one that works for your skin tone and personal style- and make sure all the colors flatter, not just one or two.
Pair separates. When it comes to color-blocking with separates, the easiest way is to pair a bright hue with a nude hue. Once you've gotten the hang of it, you can try to pair two bold colors, but we suggest starting with a bright top and nude skirt.
****NOTE: Neutral doesn't have to mean nude. Use white, grey, brown and black to hold your outfit together.
Kick it up a notch. Once you've got your neutral and bold hues covered, it's time to add one more (yes, one more). Pair a deep turquoise or cobalt top with a pastel, or offset bright pants with a rich jacket. For a bright purple shirt, we love a soft-hued cardigan.
Up the Ante. Once you've got your main hues represented in your outfit, take color-blocking to the next level with accessories. If you've got a deep-hued top, skirt or dress, pair it with bright accessories and vice-versa. A bright yellow top looks great with cobalt blue bracelets, and a deep purple skirt pairs nicely with bright pink shoes.
****NOTE: Stick with different hues of the same color. Sky blue, cobalt and navy look great, while pale pink, bright pink and fuchsia do as well.
Opposites attract. There are a few things to remember when it comes to color-blocking with the right colors. Make sure you only have one neon color. While it's totally okay to rock three bold colors, only one of them should be super bright. We like this formula: one bright, one bold, one neutral.
Having a tough time figuring out what to pair with what?
Here are some more hues that go great together:
1. Cobalt Blue, Yellow, Orange
2. Chocolate Brown, Pink, Peach
3. Purple, Bright Blue, Teal
4. Deep Blue, Bright Pink, White
5. Coral, Grey, Ivory

Make Old Glass Frame Into New Mirror Treasure!
How to Make Glass Into a Mirror With Paint
While making a mirror requires a precise silvering process, you can make glass look like a mirror with spray paint you can find at craft stores. Spray paint can create a glossy, reflective surface that gives the effect of a mirror. Use this technique for easy, inexpensive craft projects at home.
1
Lightly sand the glass opposite of the side you want to reflect. Clean the sanded surface with tack cloth.
2
Hold the spray can about 6 inches from the sanded surface and spray the surface evenly with paint.
3
Let dry thoroughly before moving or handling. The glass opposite of the side you painted will reflect like a mirror.
Thanks ehow for the great idea

How To Clean Suede!... Your Cute Boots Are Not Throw Aways Just Yet
Ever have your favorite pair of boots stained and you are at a loss as to what to do. Here are some answer the question
How do I Remove Stains from Suede Leather?
Suede is created from the underside of the leather hide. The fibers are treated and raised to create its trademark soft and velvety feel. Professional cleaning is recommended for large or heavily oily stains. But some stains can be successfully removed at home using extra care. Always test a small, hidden area first to check for any damage or discoloration.
Suede shoes, handbags, gloves, hats and other accessories have a surface that can scuff easily and can get dirty quickly. Suede is also not simple to clean. Even if you have your suede items stain-proofed or water-proofed, they can get dirty and damaged.
If your suede clothing gets soaked, you should blot the excess water from the garment with a clean cloth towel. Allow the article to dry naturally - do not apply heat. Stuff wet suede shoes with paper so that they can hold their shape.
For major cleaning jobs, take your suede garments to a dry cleaner. For minor jobs, you can clean your suede items at home.
Difficulty: Average
Time Required: 30 minutes
Here's How:
1. Use a clean towel to rub the surface of the garment and bring up the nap.
2. Blot up any small, wet stains using a paper towel.
3. Remove any small, dry stains using a clean pencil eraser. Rub gently, being carefully not to damage the nap.
4. Use a fingernail file or a clean, dry toothbrush to gently remove any clumps of dirt or scuff marks that still remain.
5. Remove any oily stains with a degreaser suede cleaner.
6. Brush the garment gently with a suede brush to restore the nap.
What You Need
Clean towel
Paper towels
Pencil eraser
Fingernail file or toothbrush
Degreaser suede cleaner
Suede brush
GOOD LUCK!

Print on Tile Portrait! Amaze Your Friends!
Want to make a unique piece of art to decorate your empty walls? Or to make the perfect gift for the grandparents or in-laws?
Here is a simple way to make this modern and minimalistic design using just tiles, tissue paper and a laser printer.
It is time to amaze your friends...
You will need:
1. Nice photo
2. Computer
3. 9 pieces of 10x10cm tiles
4. 5 sheets of printer paper
5. 5 strips of 10x20cm tissue paper
6. Double sided adhesive
7. Printer
8. Exacto knife
9. Decoupage glue
10. Paintbrush
Step 1
Picking and editing you photo
First you have to pick a nice photo. Make sure you pick a photo in which you will not cut away vital parts (such as eyes) later on.
Chose which part of the photo you want to use and cut out a square. Put the square in a new document.
On this new document you can:
Change image size to 30cmx30cm.
Desaturate the image.
Change brightness and contrast until you get the desired result.
You might want use the paintbrush to get rid of unwanted details in the background.
You might want to reverse the picture, otherwise you will end up (like me) with a mirror image of your original photo.
Step 2
Dividing your picture into smaller elements
In order to print your paper you will have to take a few extra steps.
Make lines on your edited photo at 10 and 20 cm. This is just to make the next step easier, if you find it hard you can skip this.
Cut out the squares between the lines. Cut 0,5 cm away from the lines! Otherwise you will end up with a distorted face in the end. If you did not make the lines just check the ruler and make the cutting free hand. Each square will measure 9cm in each direction.
Paste the squares into 5 new documents, 2 in each except for the last one which will have just one square.
If needed, rotate the new documents to make them printable.
Step 3
Printing your photo on tissue paper
Obiously it is hard to put tissue paper into an ordinary laser printer. This is a nice trick to make it work.
Take your strips of 10 x 20cm tissue paper. Put double sided adhesive on upper and lower side.
Attach to middle of printer paper.
Do NOT use common tape as it will melt in your laser printer and make it useless (take my word for granted, I have tried)
Print the 5 documents on the 5 pieces of tissue paper
Step 4
Cutting the parts
No need for longer explanation. Cut all nine squares. Try not to cut your fingers as well.
Step 5
Time to use the glue!
Put decoupage glue on tiles. Adhere tissue paper.
If you want a softer look, adhere pieces with printed side facing tile. (That is the reason you might want to reverse it earlier). For a more detailed look, adhere printed side out.
When dry, add at least two more layers of decoupage glue on top of tissue paper.
Step 6
Finished!
Now you might want to put tiles into a frame or just stick to a piece of board and put on your wall.
Good luck!
Thank you

Reconnect with Your Inner Child
~~~~~~~~~~~~Think of Yourself as Being Creative~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you think of yourself as a creative person, you will begin to act in creative ways. Use this new perspective of yourself and act as if your work, chores, commute and duties are outlets for your creativity—and they will be!
I heard a great story of Edward Adamson, an English art therapist who asked a group of high school–aged children to look at a brick and write down as many things they could imagine the brick being used for. Some children had no problem, jotting, with ease, a hundred ideas. Other children struggled, so he asked those children to close their eyes and imagine they were eccentric artists known for their creative flair. Once they had an image of themselves as innovative, artsy people, he asked them to open their eyes and again look at the brick and write down all the things that the brick could become. This time, the children overflowed with ideas. The difference was they now saw themselves as "artists."
How Volunteering Can Help You Get A Job
By volunteering in your community, not only will you be helping out organizations in need, but you'll also expand your network, add something to your resume, and come in contact with loads of new people who will now want to help you.
And, of course, if you happen to want to work in the nonprofit sector, volunteering for a nonprofit that particularly interests you is a great way to get a foot in the door. You'll get to meet inside players and form relationships, get early leads on upcoming openings, and be able to demonstrate that you're reliable, talented, organized, efficient, skilled, and all the other things people look for in new hires.
Make your photos clothing art !
Paint Inkodye, a light-sensitive dye, onto the front of a T-shirt, lay your black-and-white negative on top, and set it in the sun. Within minutes, your photos will have developed into a print you can wear. lumi.co ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Inkodye is used for photograms, shadow prints, painting, dyeing, silk-screening, batik and more! Works great on cotton, wood, suede, silk and other natural fibers.
Expose your design to sunlight and watch the color appear! It is set permanently once exposed. Wash out unexposed dye in hot soapy water and agitate vigorously.
What has brought you luck in your life?
I know that it might seem superstitious to think that Luck actually exists (something a four leaf clover may bring) but we still believe that is an unsuperstitious way of characterizing event that seem to happen all on their own. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Definition ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luck as lack of control~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luck refers to that which happens to a person beyond that person's control. This view incorporates phenomena that are chance happenings, a person's place of birth for example, but where there is no uncertainty involved, or where the uncertainty is irrelevant. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NO MATTER WHAT WE ALL BELIEVE IN LUCK!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What has brought you luck in your life?
